Expedition

The B.M.S.C.E. Mountaineering club was founded in March 1983. Since the inception of the club, we have had within us, a spirit of adventure and a healthy respect for nature. These ideals have led men onto achievements that were possible only because of the implicit belief that man is the pinnacle of creation and is capable of achieving his goal against all odds.

In the initial stages, our activities were limited to trekking in the Western Ghats; But later on the club activities diversified to include Rock climbing in Ramnagaram & Turahalli; Aero sports at Jakkur and Karwar, river rafting in Sita river and many other such adventure sports.

Also, the BMSCE MC holds the privilege of leading the first all student expedition from South India to Gadhwal Himalayas.

We are on the lookout for sponsors for the annual Himalayan expeditions that we undertake and also for our activities during the B.M.S. College fest " UTSAV ".
